Zion Schwarting is a dedicated musician with a decade of experience in guitar and bass playing. Beginning his musical journey at the age of 12, he quickly developed a passion for the craft. This led to him performing both covers and original music with other musicians in various environments including schools, public and private events, D.I.Y house shows, and on church worship teams.
Zion’s talents were recognized when he and his bandmates won first place in the 2018 Steele Canyon High School Battle of the Bands.
In addition to performing, his expertise spans music theory, reading musical notation, and fostering a love for music in his students. Currently, he is a student at Metropolitan Community College with plans to transfer to the University of Nebraska Omaha to specialize in Music Technology. Zion is committed to helping aspiring musicians achieve their goals through tailored instruction and a deep understanding of music!

As a member of a jazz band-in high school I draw inspiration from the legendary Wes Montgomery, whose smooth phrasing and iconic octave playing influence my sound. "Outside of music, I enjoy a good slice of pizza, my favorite food!"
Nate was born and raised in Omaha Nebraska, he started learning music at the age of 10, beginning with piano and moving to the bass guitar. He has played for over 10 years.
Nate learned the bass from James McMann at D-rocks music. He's had the opportunity to play at local events at the sumpter amphitheater, and other music events with a variety of groups. "I love everything jazz, blues, to rock and metal
I hope is to create an atmosphere of confidence that was instilled in me from my teachers, and encourage expression through music to my students!"
For the safety of our students and the peace of mind for parents, all teachers and staff at Omaha Music Lessons must pass state background checks!
